English Teacher and  Coordinator/Educator

There are many reasons for travelling and studying languages. Ever since my childhood I have been curious and asked people tricky questions. Their obvious reaction was to give me a book to find the answers myself, and so my passion for reading books and exploring the things grew. My parents wanted me to be independent and study at Business Academy. So I did it, and after passing my graduation exams, I decided to travel and work with the Czech Airlines. My first experience was fruitful but after two years I missed my studies. I thought why not continue with Economics Studies?  I successfully passed my Bachelor's studies. Although I found it useful, more and more students, colleagues and friends asked me for help with their English. I helped them with success! They passed their exams and I was really happy. After finishing the Master's Programme I did not feel like running my own business but I wanted to test  abroad what I had learnt at university. Finally, my dream came true. I linked my passion and hobby, and  studied English and American Literature at Charles University in Prague. From that time, I have been teaching students and adults. I also help them gain their study experience abroad with the Erasmus + programme. Since then I have been travelling and cooperating with the UK,  Ireland, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy and others.

I have been awarded National and European awards for my projects. But the best reward are from my students, if I know that they are motivated and on the right track.

My other keen interests are family and sport – cycling, rollerskating, dancing, horse riding. And, of course, studying languages. As a teacher, I know that I cannot know everything!

Lektor angličtiny a koordinátor/pedagog

Cestovat a studovat jazyky je dobré ze spousty důvodů. Už od dětství jsem byla zvídavá a pokládala lidem záludné otázky. Reagovali na to většinou tak, že mi dali do ruky knížku a odpověď na své otázky jsem si musila zjistit sama. Tak se zrodila má vášeň pro čtení a poznávání nových věcí. Rodiče chtěli, abych byla samostatná, a podnítili mě ke studiu na obchodní akademii. Poslechla jsem je a po maturitě jsem se rozhodla pracovat pro České aerolinky. Bylo to velmi obohacující, nicméně po dvou letech se mi začalo stýskat po studiu. Řekla jsem si, proč nezkusit studium ekonomiky. Úspěšně jsem absolvovala bakaláře. Přišlo mi to velmi užitečné, při tom mne ale čím dál více přátel, studentů a kolegů žádalo o pomoc s angličtinou a ukázalo se, že jsem jim pomohla dobře. Všichni zkoušky udělali a to mě moc potěšilo. Po dodělání magistra se mi nechtělo začít podnikat, měla jsem chuť ozkoušet si své znalosti v cizině. A tak se mi konečně splnil sen. Spojila jsem svou vášeň a koníčka s užitečným a vystudovala Anglickou a americkou literaturu na Univerzitě Karlově v Praze. Od té chvíle jsem začala učit studenty a dospělé. Rovněž jim pomáhám získat studijní zkušenosti v cizině prostřednictvím programu Erasmus +. Díky tomu cestuji a spolupracuji se Spojeným královstvím, Německem, Španělskem, Nizozemskem, Itálií a dalšími zeměmi.

Za své projekty jsem obdržela státní a evropská ocenění. Ale tou největší odměnou je pro mne vědět, že moji studenti mají motivaci a jsou na té správné cestě.

Mezi mé další zájmy patří má rodina a sportování – jízda na kole, tanec, jízda na koni a v neposlední řáde studium cizích jazyků. A jako učitelka vím, že nikdy nevím všechno.
