What is the TOEIC Test?
The TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) is a measure of how well your employees are able to apply and understand English in an international business/industrial environment. Questions are based upon everyday work-related situations.
Where is the TOEIC Recognized?
TOEIC test scores are recognized by more than 10,000 companies, agencies, colleges and universities in over 120 countries. TOEIC is also recognized by the United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) for Tier 4 Student Visas, Tier 1&2 Work Permits and Spouse/Partner Visas.
What Does the TOEIC Test Consist of?
The exam contains a total of 200 multiple choice questions, divided into two sections: Listening (100 questions), Reading (100 questions). To view a sample test, click here.
How Does TOEIC Test Scoring Work?
Test takers will receive a score of between 5 and 495 points for each section, which are then added together to create a total score out of 990 points. The higher the score, the greater a test takers chances of successful and effective professional communication in an international business setting are likely to be.

How Long Does the TOEIC Take?
The actual TOEIC only takes two hours, but you need to schedule two and a half hours for the test due to instructions and completing exam forms that must be managed before the test.
